I have seen so many cool moths that I cant identify, because I cant find a moth field guide. I have actually done so much searching with no luck, that I don't think they exist. They put a few moths in insect/butterfly field guides like, Tigers, Luna, Cecropia, and Sphinx Moths. I see some that are truly beautiful, or just outright amazing looking, and It is rare for me to identify them. About a year ago I wrote to the New York Conservationist asking them what they use for moth identification, but they never replied. Oh well, I guess the search goes on

Here's another of many different and weird moths I've found at the entrance to the club. This one looks like a cross with a prey mantis! There are others I'm trying to photo but they just won't cooperate. I'll add them here when I finally do. Dan

You see some caterpillars camouflaged like this. They are camouflaged to look like bird poo!
