There's all kinds of them but these I've never seen until last year and they Love milkweed. Invasive of some kind .

I have raised these little guys too! They are Tussock caterpillars. They spin a cocoon under foliage on the ground, and remain there over winter, and emerge in early spring as Tiger moths. They are related to the "famous" Woolly Bear caterpillars which are also Tiger moths at adulthood. Invasive? Maybe if you eat Milkweed!
